Coelecanth SPJ is designed after 6 years of Testing, in the Maldives in Extreme Conditions. as the slow pitch jigging evolves to a more Aggresive Standards, we need to come up with a blank which can withstand extreme fighting in deep water with bigger fish and also able to jig effortlessly even if you had a mosnter pelagic on the end like a Yellow Fin tuna. the rod is made by our Trinity Cross cardbon Technology which gives the blank robust backbone with a powerful curve making less fatique for the angler as longer fights with too much stiffer blank cux extensive stress to the angler. with all this in mind our Spj have a very well balanced blank which can make longer fights easier even without using a Fighting belt but its highly recomended to use a Belt when fighting for longer periods.
Our SPJ is ment for Both medium Light jigging with 200g on pe 2 to max pe 3 with 650g with terminal tackle. our blanks conisists of 98% carbon composites of Torayca T1100g and Nano Technology.
IF you want giant pelagic or Benthic Deep Monsters our rod will perform perfectly well , with extreme sensitive tips for deep waters giving you a edge when moving heavier jigs. some anglers in testing has been using 700g as well but we do not recomend jigs heavier then 750 maxx with terminal tackle as intended action is max 650g.

The Tip is Exremly ressilent in moving heavier jig making the rod extremly prefereable in deep waters and for hunting pelagics. the most important factor in a slow jiggin rod is the ability to move the jig effectivly,espcially if you are hunting for pelagics.
